Clifford Devlin’s Building Division has been awarded a £2.4 million project to replace the glazing at the headquarters of a global pharmaceutical company based in the South East.
Clifford Devlin won a competitive tender to remove and replace glazing on the main roof and three vertical link elements of a multi-block site in Buckinghamshire. Key to the success of the tender was Clifford Devlin’s experience of providing internal and external works in occupied and semi-occupied locations with a focus on health & safety, controlling emissions of noise, vibration and dust, traffic management and minimising the impact to occupants, visitors and the public. The contractor’s familiarity and success with working with the client’s professional team was also seen as a significant advantage.
“This is the second largest contract our Building and Special Works Division has secured to date and, we believe, is in no small part, due to our well-earned reputation for attention to detail and successfully managing client expectations,” said Managing Director, Tim Clifford.
The 48-week project is due to start in July 2018.
