The proposed work requires the removal of asbestos based insulation board (AIB) ceiling and boxing panels from shower blocks and various non-licenced works in the form of cement debris and encapsulation of AIB soffits to various bungalows.
The licenced works will be carried out under fully controlled conditions in one enclosure. The non-licenced will be carried out under locally controlled conditions.
The enclosure will be formed, following which a pre-clean to enable assisted entry to the enclosure by a pre-approved M&E contractor to carry out vital isolations to facilitate the works.
Following the works, a 4-stage clearance and reassurance air testing will be carried out for reoccupation.
