Essex School Project

School is out for summer and Clifford Devlin’s asbestos division is carefully planning and managing the removal of asbestos in schools while staff, pupils, and workers are absent. This is to ensure the safe removal of asbestos in controlled conditions.

Clifford Devlin’s asbestos division were awarded the contract to remove asbestos from classrooms in a local school and to complete the full decontamination of all areas. This includes the removal of any man-made mineral fibre (MMMF) insulation, general debris, stored items or equipment identified within the areas, that may be contaminated prior to or during the removal process and cannot be salvaged as part of the project.

The asbestos removal and decontamination shall be carried out under controlled asbestos conditions in accordance with all relevant statutory provisions, approved codes of practice and guidance on best practice.
