Clifford Devlin are currently working on phase 3 of ongoing Remediation Works to communal areas on a residential estate in Lambeth, London.
The works over the three phases have been both licensed and non-licensed. The licensed works required the removal of asbestos insulation board ceiling panels to the balconies of the block which have been over clad with wooden cladding. The AIB panels were held in place by nails and fixed to the timber battens. Over the course of the three phases, we have carried out in excess 30 plus live removal enclosures.
The non-licensed asbestos removal works included stones containing asbestos debris from the roofing area of the required blocks, doors containing asbestos to the electrical cupboards in the communal hallways, cement flu pipes, asbestos mastics around windows and door frames and stair nosing’s.
