Clifford Devlin has been selected as one of three official demolition contractors to Hackney Homes Ltd. The framework agreement will commence in January 2008 and see Clifford Devlin participate in the demolition and remediation phases of regeneration projects carried out in the London Borough of Hackney over the next three years.
Clifford Devlin was selected following a pre-qualification submission published in the Official Journal of the European Communities (OJEC) which attracted over twenty applicants. The Bow-based contactor achieved the second highest aggregate score (76.8%) in the qualitative evaluation.
“Clifford Devlin’s credentials and experience of carrying out inner-city demolition projects enabled it to gain an impressive score during pre-qualification,” said a Hackney Homes Project Manager. “We were impressed by their commitment to environmental initiatives, participation in local employment programmes and experience of working with local subcontractors.”
