Our experienced in house social value team are responsible for the formulation of the social value initiatives against the National TOMS framework. Clifford Devlin use a social value measurement that is standard across the UK and allows us to measure the value delivered and quantify the wider value created for society.
Our team are responsible for social value activities on site and for ensuring that our initiatives are effectively managed, monitored and delivered.

We also understand the value of using local resources in contributing to the economic and social fabric of the areas in which we work as well as the benefits it brings to our company. Our Sustainable Procurement Policy requires the company to, where feasible, source labour, sub-contractors and materials locally. We have considerable experience of implementing employment and training initiatives to resource projects while supporting the local economy.
Our partnership with New Futures who are a specialist part of Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and forming part of HMP Chelmsford’s Employment Advisory Board allows us to recruit ex-offenders into long term employment within our company. Clifford Devlin initiatives include the employment for those who face barriers to work.
The company regularly organises fund raising campaigns, supports local and client initiatives and charities.
