Background
Dan originally joined Clifford Devlin in 2016 to work jointly as our Compliance Manager and Project Coordinator, having spent the previous 15 years working in various capacities in the asbestos industry, including a substantial period working in asbestos labour provision.
Dan’s experience has included setting up an asbestos division within an established construction company where he obtained and managed the asbestos licence. He has been working on business development efforts which included a multi-discipline LEL portfolio for passive fire protection services and products, mechanical and electrical services as well as building services.
Dan is competent, committed and very experienced manager with an invaluable experience in managing projects, resources, and staff in an effective and efficient manner. Highly focused with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of various industries and sectors.
Responsibilities
The role carries overall responsibility for the management and performance of the Asbestos Division and Fire Safety Division. As well as providing strategic leadership, Dan works closely with the company’s Commercial Department to develop existing systems and manage the financial performance of the division.

- Level 4 Diploma in Licensed Asbestos Removal for Contract Managers (ARCA)
- IOSH Managing Safely (IOSH)
- Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (ProQual)
