Old Fire Station

Clifford Devlin were appointed to carry out the asbestos removal works at the old fire station at Stansted.

The works included –

• The removal of asbestos based pipe insulation and all non-asbestos MMMF pipe insulation.
• To remove 2no boilers and water cylinder, casings and associated pipe work
• Removal of all electrical boxes and cables throughout the boiler room.

All of the works were carried out under fully controlled conditions and a 4 stage air test was carried out on completion of works.

These works formed part of a larger refurbishment project.
