Wayne Marsh (Head of Asbestos)

Background: Wayne joined Clifford Devlin in November 2018 from 777 Demolition Environmental Group where he spent three successful years as its Managing Director.

His 25-year career in construction encompasses a number of senior management roles with high profile industry names. He has worked across the industry in construction and demolition with the last 11 years more focused on the asbestos removal and remediation sector.

Wayne's career started at BAA Plc where he project-managed a number of key developments including the demolition of Terminal 2, major refurbishment schemes and the set up and management of the asbestos removal framework for BAA.

His hands-on approach has enabled him to build teams who embrace the culture of the business and who are empowered to strive for perfection.  He believes in developing close long-term relationships with clients, taking time to understand their business needs thereby ensuring satisfaction with the delivered project.

Responsibilities: The role carries overall responsibility for the management and performance of the Asbestos Division. As well as providing strategic leadership Wayne works closely with the company’s Commercial Department to develop existing systems and manage the financial performance of the division.

The Head of Asbestos takes a hands-on role in managing and supervising the full lifecycle of project and contract work from identifying opportunities through tender, negotiation, mobilisation and delivery. Other duties include: client liaison, training, resourcing, inspection and audit.
